Dear Micheal,

I just wanted to take a moment from making all the toys and getting the reindeer ready to send you this letter. I have been watching you all year and wanted to let you know what a special boy I think you are. I always smile when I see you make good choices or go out of your way to be kind to others. It is not always easy to be good, so I am especially proud of you this year.

This is a busy time of the year with lots of lights, parties and family fun. I love seeing the reindeers like Dancer, Prancer, Dasher , and Blitzen and all my elf friends smiling around our beautiful Christmas tree. We decorate the workshop, make cookies and even play “pin the nose on Rudolf”! We also love going around the village singing all of our favorite carols. It’s pretty cold up here, but Mrs. Claus always has warm ginger bread cookies and hot coco to warm us up when we get home.

There are so many wonderful things about Christmas we all enjoy. But Micheal, I want you to keep in the mind the real meaning Christmas, the celebration of our Saviors birth. It is Jesus’ birthday that we celebrate on December 25. It is His gifts of GRACE, LOVE and SALVATION that are the true gifts of the season.

Michael, God’s angels are watching over you and your family. Keep being a good boy and saying your prayers, God loves hearing from you even more than I do! The elves and I, along with the reindeers (Yes, even reindeer pray!) will be keeping you in our prayers during this holiday season and throughout the year!

Remember to sing “Happy birthday, Jesus” on Christmas day. It’s a tradition we’ve kept up here in the North Pole since that first day in Bethlehem when our mighty King was born.
