Dear Elizabeth-

Merry Christmas my little friend!

The elves and I just got in from singing carols around the village square. We’ve all had our ginger bread cookies and warm milk and now it’s time to call it a night. The reindeer are all tucked in “snug-in-a-rug”- No, they REALLY are, the elves made each of the reindeer their own red velvet rug to sleep on this year. Those little elves are so thoughtful!

Speaking of being thoughtful, I wanted to tell you how proud I am of you this year. That’s why I am writing you this letter. There were so many thoughtful and good deeds you did this year that I lost count. It definitely put you on the top of my list! I know your mom and dad are super proud of you as well. Just as important, I hope you are proud of yourself!

So keep making those good choices, and always do your best to follow The Golden Rule- to treat others the way you would like to be treated yourself. This always makes Santa smile and helps make the world a more peaceful and friendly place one person at a time.
